After much debate or rather the Cadillac Converj will ever make it into production, GM has confirmed that it will follow the Chevrolet Volt into assembly sometime late next year or early 2011.
The Converj works as a high end electric vehicle because a premium model would come in at a higher sticker price, which in turn, can help defray the cost of the batteries and technology. GM's German Automaker Adam Opel GmbH will produce an Ampera model in 2011 that will use the same underpinnings.
